Los Angeles was the last stop for Bat For Lashes before she heads off to play a series of festivals.

Embraced by local stalwarts such as LA Record, Hecuba brought their whimsical minimalism to a somewhat bewildered Bat For Lashes crowd at The El Rey Theatre.

Au Revoir Simone brought their electronic synths and drum machine beats to the El Rey Theatre on a busy night here in Los Angeles last week. Their new album Still Night, Still Light came out last May with some very listenable tunes.

The Brooklyn trio is touring until the end of June in North America so go see them if they stop by your city.

Santigold is in the middle of a short North American tour that started in San Francisco on May 21. Check out some photos of her show and her out-of-this worldy pants from Terminal 5 in New York this past week!

So we're finally back with our first show. To kick things off, Camera Obscura, one of my favorite bands, played The Glass House last Tuesday. It was awesome.
