All Saints Day Preps Debut Single; "You Can't Be Alone" Download

All Saints Day, a collaboration formed between Katy Goodman of Vivian Girls and Gregg Foreman of Cat Power & Delta 72 is readying their debut 7" for release on Art Fag records. The single will include their song "It'll Come Around" and "Only Time Will Tell" as the B-side.

Only time will tell (pun unintentional) if this side project will amount to the popularity of their other works, but if the material they've already released is any indication, things are looking good. While it'd be convenient to draw comparisons to Vivian Girls, All Saints Day makes distinctions from Katy's work with the group with a more shoegaze-y, melodic sound. It's more likely to serenade you into a dreamy haze rather than pump you up into a lo-fi rock frenzy like Vivian Girls might.
