Tokyo Police Club seriously rocked out the El Rey last night in support of their latest full-length, Champ. First of all, I don't think I've ever seen such a gigantic line outside the venue; fans were literally lined up around the block to get a spot for their show (some waiting since before 5 PM, which is when the band played a secret sound check performance for those around).



When they took the stage at 11 PM, the sound of screaming and clapping was deafening, coming from all angles. The amount of devoted ardor these young guys from Ontario have generated within such a considerably short period of time is pretty awe-inspiring.
