Canadian indie rock/folk band Land of Talk first captured our attention here at Rockscope with the beyond epic music video for "It's Okay", a song that appears on their first album Some Are Lakes. It offers plenty of dazzling visuals for sure, but the song also stands strong on its own with frontwoman Elizabeth Powell's melancholic vocals and affecting lyrics. They have recently released a follow-up to 2008's debut, and are touring across North America in promotion of Cloak and Cipher, their second full-length.

Amoreena Lucero was in attendance at their San Francisco date to take photos of the event. Along with Land of Talk, she also managed to snap some pictures of openers Besnard Lakes - a fellow Canadian indie rock band - and up and coming band Suuns.
