Arctic Monkeys Humbug Album Cover

The Arctic Monkeys revealed the album cover for this year's less elaborately titled album Humbug. The candid photograph of the band was taken by a well known New York fashion photographer Guy Aroch on the last day of recording at Electric Lady Studios. Some have called it a bit lackluster but we like it! We're not all about tack sharp fancy photos around here. We completely get and appreciate the lo-fi faded look of this.

Also worthy of note, Humbug was partly produced by Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme so we're gleefully expecting to hear a harder and edgier version of the Monkeys this August 25 when the album hits the shelves in the U.S.
